Say No To Depression

Depression is like a cancer. Once it sets in, it can overtake us and place us in bondage. Severe depression has a crippling effect. It steals and robs us of our joy and ability to experience happiness. Of course we could get into all the intense reasons and causes of depression. But enough of that.

I encourage those dealing with depression to enter into a place of prayer. What kind of prayer. Simply pray and talk to God. Tell him what you are experiencing and simply ask Him for help.

I encourage you to also find some praise and worship music that you like, listen to it and make it a part of your days. You see when we lift our voices up to God, give Him praise and worship Him. The Kingdom of God, meaning heaven, comes to earth. And when the Kingdom comes, depression leaves.

Just Give Me Truth

Easier said than done.

We live in a world where lies, manipulations, and deception seems to be fruitful. However at what cost? Honor, respect, trust, integrity, and truth seem to be lost in the maze of con jobs, manipulation and lies. We see it everywhere. In politics, in governernment, in the media, all over the internet, on television, and if we look close enough, we can see it in our character and lives.

It is a human defect. Humans lie, cheat, steal, manipulate, and are deceptive. Why?

Fear, that's why. Fear of not measuring up, fear of rejection, fear of shame, fear of loss, fear of being exposed, fear of being alone, fear of lack, fear of being caught, fear of ridiculed or of being condemed.

Of course there are many others reasons, however these are some of the basics that cause people to lie, manipulate and be deceptive. Fear is a powerful emotion. Fear is also a spirit, a very powerful spirit.

But God's word say "you have not been given a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind. So if God didn't give you, me, or mankind a spirit of fear. Who did?
